Can you inspire and lead your staff to deliver their best and think outside the box? We are looking for the right candidate who can lead the Science Department and be a key driver in taking ICARS to the next level.
About ICARS
The International Centre for Antimicrobial Resistance Solutions (ICARS) is a young organization with a mission to develop evidence-based solutions to mitigate antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Working in partnership with low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), ICARS uses intervention and implementation research to support the countries in implementing their National Action Plans.
ICARS Board of Directors and core donors have a clear goal of ICARS’ continued growth as well as ICARS positioning itself as a key AMR player and go-to organization for AMR mitigation in LMICs. By testing and developing new evidence on AMR mitigation across the One Health spectrum, ICARS’ goal is to produce evidence that will inform policy and practice in LMICs and across the globe. Ultimately our goal is to contribute to the achievement of ICARS’ vision of a world where drug-resistant infections no longer pose a threat to the health of humans and animals, the environment, global food security and economic prosperity.
