The Job
You will be a part of the Tunnel Dredging and Reclamation (TDR) team who is primarily responsible for the work harbours and the dredging of the tunnel trench.
Working alongside the TDR Project Controls Manager, you will fulfil a key role in the TDR Team and in the management of the TDR planning and project controls coordination.
Your key tasks will include:
As the TDR Project Controls Coordinator, you will - in close cooperation with the management team - ensure that professional competences are developed and that processes and tools are standardised and implemented to support the project’s needs. This includes Project Planning and schedule analysis, monthly progress reporting and assisting the TDR Project Controls Manager in internal reporting as well as in various project management tasks, e.g. health & safety, quality, risk, stakeholder and interface management.

Your profile
You are a dynamic and proactive Project/Planning Manager with good attention to detail.
You have a Bachelor's degree in civil construction, engineering or equivalent with more than 10-20 years’ experience from Planning and Project Controls management on similar complex projects.

As the TDR Project Controls Coordinator, you will - in close cooperation with the management team - ensure that professional competences are developed and that processes and tools are standardised and implemented to support the project’s needs. This includes Project Planning and schedule analysis, monthly progress reporting and assisting the TDR Project Controls Manager in internal reporting as well as in various project management tasks, e.g. health & safety, quality, risk, stakeholder and interface management.
Responsibilities
- Provide project controls management, including baseline schedule development and management, performance status and reporting, baseline change control, risk management, earned value management guidance and tools
- Ensuring the Project controls team produce weekly/monthly reports in line with the project and company reporting calendar, providing details on progress, actuals, forecast and explanation of variances
- Give input to the Chief Planner for the technical check of the Contractors Baseline Programme
- Responsible for collecting and coordinating information from the TDR team and the supporting function in order to:
- Establish and maintain a programme for the internal activities
- Check and comment on the Contractors Baseline (Primavera) Programme - are contract requirements fulfilled (scope, milestones, calendar, level of detailing, time restrictions, resource planning etc.)
- Check and comment on the Contractor’s documents (progress reporting; Work and Cost Breakdown structures and procedures)
- Provide input to the programme used in the Risk Management System
- Asssting TDR Project Controls Manager in:
- Ensuring that the TDR team works according to the Femern Management System
- Establishing and maintaining internal monthly reporting
- Ensuring filing of documents in internal document management
Your profile
You are a dynamic and proactive Project/Planning Manager with good attention to detail.
You have a Bachelor's degree in civil construction, engineering or equivalent with more than 10-20 years’ experience from Planning and Project Controls management on similar complex projects.
The ideal candidate will have the following key competencies & qualifications:
Essential criteria
- Strong communication skills, enabling you to manoeuvre efficiently in a complex international matrix environment and having the ability to create good relationships within the team and with your stakeholders
- Native, bilingual or full professional proficiency, in English
- Practical ability to utilise critical project management concepts (including project planning and progress reporting)
- Experience in planning and programming, preferably with Primavera P6 or similar
- Experience in project management preferably on complex civil or infrastructure projects including the understanding of how project management controls relate to other project functions such as Health and Safety, Quality, Environment, procurement, reporting, contract management etc.
Desirable criteria
- Advanced knowledge of planning of operations for preferably both marine and land-based activities and especially Dredging and Reclamation works
- Experience in project controls management on large scale international civil or infrastructure projects
- Experience with project control management and preferably competences equivalent to PMP, IPMA or Prince2
- Professional working proficiency, in Danish and/or German
