During 2020, we will build a world-class digital team to ensure digital is at the heart of our business. This new Global Digital Hub will be responsible for designing, delivering and operating digital products and experiences for Pandora’s global business (online and in-store), in order to deliver a genuinely connected experience.
We are looking for a Conversion Manager for Data & Analytics to work with Product Managers to design and implement approaches to increase conversion/retention and other key performance metrics. As Conversion Manager, you will report to the Director of Data & Analytics and work closely with the Product and Market teams to understand, and help them achieve, their goals. In this senior role you are expected to be a credible expert and advocate for conversion rate optimization (CRO) and support the Director of Data & Analytics in coaching other team members.
Furthermore, you will:
- Manage and develop the backlog of potential conversion rate optimization (CRO) opportunities for Pandora digital products and work closely with Product Managers to refine and add to this backlog
- Manage the A/B and multivariate testing tools in use within Pandora, working closely with product development squads and coaching them in how to best use the tools and monitoring all tests to avoid duplication / conflict.
- Act as an internal advocate for CRO and the value of optimization and analytics within Pandora
- Maintain focus on activities which are linked to key objective of conversation rate optimization, removing obstacles to achieving this
- Provide regular updates to the digital leadership team and key business stakeholders on new initiatives, data insights and key results
- Ensure best possible service is provided remaining up to date with new thinking, good practices, trends, and tools in CRO
- Carry out the footwork on AB testing analysis (pre-testing, post-testing results and deep dive on test results)
Your new team:
Data & Analytics is responsible for creating a data-centric analytical culture and maximising the effective use of existing and new data sources to deliver actionable business and customer insight across Pandora’s digital activities. We value flexibility and informal working, where you are trusted to deliver and to focus on outcomes, outputs and value delivered, not hours spent at a desk in the office. You will report directly to the Director of Data & Analytics and work closely with Product Managers and teams as well as the Digital Merchandising & Optimization Manager and Digital Operations team.
What is needed to succeed:
We are looking for a highly experienced leader with experience in defining and delivering initiatives to improve conversion. Adding to that, we imagine that you have strong business acumen and good level of commercial awareness as well as good stakeholder management and communication skills.
Furthermore, we envision that you have and can demonstrate:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in transactional conversion/retention rate optimisation
- Understanding and experience of key elements that impact conversation e.g. customer journey management, website personalisation, online merchandising, A/B and multivariate testing, customer segmentation, basket abandonment analysis, competitors benchmarking, etc.
- Ideally had some exposure to Offline Marketing
- Good delegation and coaching skills – highly comfortable in empowering individuals and development teams
- Good analytical skills, awareness of key technologies and tools used for Data analysis
- Experience with Monetate, Medallia, Content Square, Adobe Analytics or similar is preferred
