Job description and areas of responsibility:
We are looking for two new Web Analysts to support data driven decisions on product and strategy by helping to visualise and present meaningful and actionable insights derived from the analysis of digital data, e.g. identifying correlations and discovering patterns.

Your day-to-day focus will be to understand digital performance trends by using Adobe Analytics and other tools, and make sure your findings are understood by Product Managers. Your findings will help identify customer ‘pain-points’ and improvement opportunities, as well as helping to size potential, actionable opportunities. Examples of this are estimating the potential revenue impact of a new feature’s effect on a specific metric, building value estimation calculators, etc.

In addition, you will:

  • Collect and analyse digital performance trends from multiple sources of data
  • Story tell to share your findings with Product Managers and product development squads through dashboards, reports and visualisations
  • Plan, create and undertake multivariate tests to identify areas for improvements, which can be fed back to product development squads
  • Support colleagues with problem solving for data quality issues from source systems and propose corrective actions for IT/digital systems, or process improvements to improve data quality and timelines in the future
  • Work closely with others within the Data & Analytics team, product development squads, Digital Operations and other functions as required

Your new team:
Pandora is a company with a big heart that takes great pride in treating our people well. During 2020, we will build a world-class digital team, ensuring that digital is as the heart of our business. Our Digital Hub will be responsible for designing, delivering and operating digital products and experiences for Pandora’s global business to deliver a genuinely connected experience.

You will report to the Director, Analytics and join a team responsible for creating a data-centric analytical culture and maximising the effective use of existing and new data sources to deliver actionable business and customer insight across Pandora’s digital activities.

What is needed to succeed:
We imagine that you bring with you a Bachelor’s degree from Computer Science, Econometrics, Mathematics or similar. Most important to us is that you are experienced working with large amounts of raw data and different techniques and applications to drive insights from data. Moreover, you have fundamental knowledge of agile development practices, in which products evolve through the collaborative effort of self-organising, cross-functional teams.

Further to this, you have:

  • A strong background in using Adobe Analytics, along with Jira, data visualisation software and data manipulation and analysis software
  • Understanding of tag management systems, such as Adobe Dynamic Tag Management, Tealium iQ, or Google Tag Manager
  • Experience using SQL, R or Python, and visualisation tools (Tableau, PowerBI, QlikView or Spotfire)
  • An understanding of key elements that impact digital retail, e.g. customer journey management, website personalisation, online merchandising, A/B and multivariate testing, customer segmentation, basket abandonment analysis and competitor benchmarking
  • Experience with Monetate, Medallia, Content Square, Adobe Analytis or similar is preferred
  • Microsoft Azure and Databricks experience is considered an advantage

Something about you:
You might be the person we are looking for if you have strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate findings in an engaging manner which creates buy-in from Product Managers and other stakeholders. You are passionate about the possibilities of digital and data, and its value for business. Furthermore, you are attentive to detail and complete all work with care and accuracy, always aiming to meet quality standards. Being naturally curious, you want to develop new knowledge and skills, and use new concepts, methods, digital systems and processes to improve performance.
