Dawn Health’s design DNA
In 2021, Dawn Health wants to take their design processes to the next level. This means embedding the international standard IEC 62366-1 into their quality management system. This human factor usability engineering process will allow Dawn Health to access and mitigate risks associated with use of regulated software as medical device. Digital products that can save lives!

Director of Product Strategy & Design
In the role as Director of Product Strategy and Design at Dawn Health, you will be a part of the Management team in the company, oversee solutions across more than 15 chronic disease areas and help Dawn Health redefine high-quality design in healthcare. Dawn Health’s design team is a mix of about 8 fantastic researchers, designers and strategists – people who are shaping and building products in collaboration with the biggest players in the life science industry.

For the right person, Dawn Health offers partnership through a warranty program after the first year and an attractive salary.

Your profile
Dawn Health is looking for a people person who can guide and mentor their team of strategists and designers to develop world-class healthcare products. Strong experience within human-centred design practices like user research, facilitation, service design, product design and a sound understanding of global cultures are required. You have a natural appetite to learn and if you have experience with digital health or the life science industry, that is a big plus. Most importantly, you are a deeply passionate soul, driven by an entrepreneurial desire to walk that extra mile, to do more and to change the status quo!

Your responsibilities

  • Manage, coach and lead a cross-functional team of strategic designers, visual product designers and researchers
  • Participate in setting the strategic direction of the company and optimizing collaboration across teams together with the rest of the Dawn Health management team
  • Evangelize strategic design and good design practice in general – both in Dawn Health and in the Life Science industry
  • Lead client engagements and ensure quality of Dawn Health’s design processes in the project portfolio
  • Support the business development team on pitching projects and writing proposals
