About the team
Finance is an essential team in CIP covering Reporting, Accounting & Processes, Controlling, Tax Compliance & Reporting, Financial Analysis, Fund Performance and IT, which makes it a crucial team in the organisation. The team consists of 27 fulltime employees who are very committed and highly skilled, assisted by six parttime Students. The team is known and acknowledged for its work with complex issues and providing constructive solutions.The role
As Payroll Manager you will be responsible for ensuring a timely and flawless monthly payroll process for the entire organisation. You will be responsible for the payroll in Copenhagen, and support and approve our global payroll processes in the US, the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, and Japan which are outsourced to different providers. Furthermore, you will be involved in ad hoc assignments across the organisation, i.e. with Legal and HR, setting high demands for your great project management and people skills.Your responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:
  • Manage the monthly payroll in close collaboration with Accounting and HR
  • Becoming a trusted contact person in relation to payroll related questions, e.g. pension, vacation and leave of absence
  • Assist in reconciliation of payroll and payroll related items, as well as analyse and identify variations and exceptions
  • Handling of refunds and compensations in relation to maternity/paternity leave and sickness
  • Record-keeping of employees’ vacation and time allocation on different projects
  • Maintain employee master data
  • Maintain our newly implemented payroll and HR system, Visma
  • Take responsibility in the development and optimization of payroll processes
  • Assist on the annual employees’ performance and development review in relation to regulation of wages and salaries
  • The successful candidate
    We are looking for a self-driven and service-oriented professional with a relevant bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR or other related fields and at least +5 years of work experience in a similar position in an international organisation. You are familiar working with payroll policies, practices, and legislation such as the Danish Holiday Act and Parental Leave and can manage the administration of such. You are comfortable in using payroll systems and Excel on a daily basis as well as other computer assisted tools. You take pride in delivering great employee experience by proactively and in a clear manner resolving the employees’ questions and queries related to payroll.We look for the following in a candidate:
  • Determined, structured, and likes to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of working independently, being proactive and aware of one’s own responsibilities with a structured approach to planning your workday
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in Danish and English and the ability to communicate issues and solutions in a simple and understandable manner
  • A positive attitude and a desire to work in a growing international organisation
  • Experienced user of MS Office package with emphasis on Excel
  • Experience with Visma Løn is an advantage
