Head of Group Reporting

Finance  Group Finance Reporting & Compliance
Group Reporting is part of the Group Finance organisation and responsible for consolidating the financials of the Vestas Group. We translate figures into accurate and value adding reporting to Vestas’ Executive Management and other senior stakeholders. You will be heading a dedicated team securing fast, reliable and transparent reporting of – and clear insight into – Vestas’ group figures. 

Responsibilities
As Head of Group Reporting, you and your team’s responsibilities will be to:

  • Drive the group closing process by taking ownership for the closing process, and guiding optimisation and improvements of the consolidation process to ensure effective and timely financial reporting
  • Secure deliveries out of finance by delivering the financial performance reporting for Executive Management and Board of Directors (BOD), the BOD report and the quarterly financial presentation for IR
  • Secure a holistic approach by having an end-to-end view cross the value chain 
  • Explore business insight by ensuring early engagement with various stakeholders securing a smooth closing process and insights into the financials and business drivers with an eye for extracting the essentials
  • Work smarter by propelling initiatives to improve and ensure efficient financial consolidation process across functions, countries and organisational levels – with ability for leveraging of IT tools, developing smart solutions and working with colleagues in our shared service centre in Manila
  • Taking a finance lead role on various projects linked to the financial consolidation – initiated within finance or from the business.
  • Apply your accounting competencies by being in close dialogue with the business using your accounting and finance capabilities to build business-oriented financial solutions within the framework of IFRS
  • Be a trustworthy partner and center of expertise by applying great stakeholder management skills to maintain a good link with HQ functions, performance functions, regional finance and Shared Service Center

Qualifications 

  • 10 years of experience from an international environment, including some years of proven experience in a leadership position
  • Solid experience with optimising group closing and reporting process in a large international company – from financial controlling to communication of consolidated performance to senior stakeholders
  • Significant accounting and performance reporting insight
  • Fluent in the English language both written and spoken
  • MSc in Business Administration & Auditing, Finance, Accounting or similar
