As Product Manager, you will be responsible for the product vision and backlog within the HR, Communications & Sustainability space. You will act as the connector between functional needs and technology and ensure we are always working on the things that creates value for our consumers and the business. For that purpose, you will be responsible for driving the successful execution of strategic initiatives by translating them into an effective product backlog and facilitating delivery through a cross-functional product team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the implementation of our strategic product roadmap in close collaboration with business owners and functional leaders in the HR, Communications & Sustainability (HRC&S) department
  • Lead the execution of individual implementation initiatives from initiation and partner selection to successful go-live and transition into continuous enhancements in operations
  • Play a tactical role with ownership of the product backlog for several product teams and be responsible for its prioritization and maintenance together with the broader stakeholder group
  • Own configuration of product features, mostly based on SaaS-based commercial off-the-shelf software (i.e. SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, and others), manage the preparation for quarterly planning, and ensure that the product team is working on items that will deliver the most significant customer and business value.
  • You will work with the product owners and other stakeholders to ensure appropriately refined features according to ‘definition of ready’, as well as work with Delivery Manager and Solution Architect to create a holistic backlog and architectural runway also encompassing technical enablers, non-functional requirements and improvements to ways of working (e.g. test automation).
  • Advise business stakeholders on functional implications of technical design-decisions to promote cross-functional collaboration and timely availability of relevant policies and artifacts
  • Facilitate the continuous refinement of our strategic product roadmap by identifying pain points and spotting technology-enabled opportunities in HRC&S
  • Spearhead Agile ways of working in the space of SaaS-based commercial off-the-shelf software and inspire other product teams in the organisation by example



A bit about you

You will need stakeholder management capability and a broad architectural understanding of the SAP SuccessFactors product suite and/or related products from other vendors in the Payroll, LMS or Analytics space.
Excellent communication skills, so that can create and clearly communicate the product vision and backlog to both senior stakeholders and team members.
An agile savvy, servant leader with a healthy dose of being pragmatic when it comes to balancing short term gains with long term strategic ambitions.
