About the job:

At Saxo Bank, we are looking for an exceptional Search Marketing talent to support our ambitious client acquisition efforts. The candidate will join the Marketing department as part of our Media team and work closely with our international offices.

The Head of Search will be responsible for growing Saxo’s client base though Organic and Paid Search channels. The candidate will lead a team of 2 to 3 experienced search specialists across PPC and SEO, and work closely with other channel owners in Media and local marketing teams to maximize the overall growth. He/she will be responsible for optimizing always-on campaigns as well as regularly launching new products and offers. The Head of Search will be responsible for large marketing budgets and delivering concrete commercial results. Moreover, this position collaborates closely with our in-house web designers and data science teams to deliver an efficient and compelling digital onboarding experience for Saxo clients. The position is based in our impressive HQ building in Hellerup, Copenhagen.

Responsibilities:

Search Excellence

  • Maximize campaign and channel performance towards clear KPIs across Organic and Paid Search
  • Ensure relevance and efficiency of our targeting and messaging in the dynamic financial landscape
  • Monitor and analyze critically competitor activities to inform our strategy
  • Plan and execute launch of new products and campaigns through Search
  • Coordinate web content production for search across our in-house teams and external partners
  • Be accountable for budget forecasting and pacing. Critically evaluate and propose budget changes to maximize output
  • Work closely with our Google and Microsoft representatives. Ensure that the team adopts best practice, accounts are whitelisted for betas/alphas and ensure full feature adoption across Search for released product updates
  • Advance product expertise across our campaign management and analytics tools

Collaboration

  • Take ownership in the collaboration with local marketing representatives in our international markets
  • Improve account performance while informing stakeholders of progress and gathering local input for messaging and market conditions
  • Demonstrate campaign-/channel impact and performance through regular reporting to the Head of Media and other senior stakeholders

What you need to succeed:

  • A strong team player. You can present complex insights and coordinate projects in a clear and structured manner across internal teams. You are able to distill complex information to key insights, recommendations and actions to senior stakeholders
  • A detail-oriented approach. Execution quality and reliability are your trademark
  • A curious mindset. You don’t miss a chance to test the newest tools and challenge the status quo by asking constructive questions
  • You are an expert user of Google Ads, Search Console, PPC editors and other 3rd party tools
  • Leadership and talent development skills to continue progressing our team excellence
  • Experience with web analytics is a must (either Google or Adobe Analytics)
  • You want to make data driven decisions to inform actions that improve the end-to-end client journey starting from media impressions, onboarding to in-platform behavior
  • You can leverage automated systems and predictive models to produce the best commercial impact
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in digital marketing with an impressive track record
  • Interest in financial markets and investment is a big plus
  • Fluent in English
