Job Description
Danfoss Real Estate Operations have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Facility Manager to take lead of the Soft Service area in our Nordborg site. You will be responsible for creating am outstanding guest experience, managing vendor contracts across the areas of Soft Services and also to secure high-level service from all the service functions. Job scope and key deliverables are management of: Soft Service strategy, investments, own financials, continuous improvements, vendors and day-to-day facility activities. Your responsibilities include consulting, advising, planning and overseeing implementation of all Soft Service activities and projects. Crucial for your success in this role is your ability to coach, motivate and develop your team members in addition to collaborating with stakeholders across functions and locations.
Background and skills
To be considered for this position, you need to have a relevant Bachelor and/or Master degree combined with a commercial background, as well as:
As a person, you are decisive, proactive, result-oriented and a good team player who is able to communicate well at all levels. You are assertive, highly organized, collaborative, energetic and a diligent employee, who has a proven track record and experience in Soft Facility services. Furthermore, you are systematic, persistent and therefore not afraid of handling conflicts and following up on activities. Finally, you have integrity and you are flexible and open to new ideas.

- Minimum 5 years’ experience with facility and/or vendor management along with stakeholder and people management
- Experience in initiating and driving continuous improvements and in trends spotting
- Full understanding of budgeting processes
- Ability to understand/interpret data and prepare reports
- Knowledge about contracts/procurement is an advantage
- Strong communication and collaborations skills
- Fluency in (comprehensive) English and Danish (both in oral and in writing)
- Excellent people management skills, clear thinker with the ability to adapt well to the demands of the role
