Plant & Hybrid Solutions CIM & Serious Incidents Blades
As part of our Continuous Improvement Management Blades team, the Project Manager role is key to the successful delivery of our current and future innovation. Working closely with Blades Designers, Engineers, and Sub-Suppliers on multiple activities, you will continually lead and improve the project execution and delivery to drive customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and overall business growth/ profitability.
Responsibilities
As Project Manager in CIM Blades, you will be responsible for managing technical projects at various levels of complexity. To succeed you will be working closely with stakeholders across the value chain, e.g. Sales and Production Business Units, Construction, Transportation and Service organisations, and R&D. Responsibilities
As Project Manager in CIM Blades, you will be responsible for managing technical projects at various levels of complexity. To succeed you will be working closely with stakeholders across the value chain, e.g. Sales and Production Business Units, Construction, Transportation and Service organisations, and R&D. Further, your tasks will include:
- Take ownership of and organise, plan and execute technical projects within scope and budget within the Blade area
- Initiate and drive corrective actions and changes in turbine design aimed at addressing faults and improving turbine performance
- Effective stakeholder management and communication across the value chain
Qualifications
- A relevant degree combined with a minimum of 5 years' experience from a similar position
- Proven experience with project management and a solid toolbox from e.g. project management certification such as Prince 2, PMI or equivalent
- Good it skills and advanced user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiar with Vestas systems and processes, ECM (Engineering Change Management) and CIM (Continuous Improvement Management)
- Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing
Competencies
- A persistent and flexible attitude with the ability to decide and execute independently
- A convincing communicator who knows how to motivate project teams, which is key in this role
- Ability to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously
- Good interpersonal skills since you will work with many stakeholders from all over the world
- A structured and pragmatic approach and the ability to create an effective plan and keep tight deadlines
