Become a part of our Operations and Logistics Management team
Kamstrup is a Danish technology company and one of the world’s leading manufacturer of intelligent metering solutions. We experience significant demand for our products and focus massively on development and production of intelligent metering equipment and systems for energy and water consumption.
In the newly establish position as Head of Operational Quality, you will have a direct reference to our Head of Operations & Logistics, and become a member of the management team. The Operations and Logistics organization focuses on delivering high quality solutions and ensuring an optimal production. You will in the role as Head of Operational Quality be responsible for the internal operational quality processes and execution across our factories and logistics functions in Denmark and USA and for global Supplier Quality. Each factory has dedicated quality people who you will manage directly along with the central Supplier Quality team – around 9 people in total.
Lead and develop future Operational Quality
As Head of Operational Quality you will have a cross organizational role, with the over-all focus on quality in our Supply Chain Operations. Most of our production is done in-house and you will be responsible for ensuring a high-level of internal quality in our process and business performance, for our supplier quality and further develop our quality focus and capabilities. You will be responsible for the identification, development and implementation of quality improvements throughout Operations and you encourage, challenge and coach others to obtain a high degree of quality awareness in their daily work.
More specifically your primary responsibilities will be to:
In the job, you can expect around 30 travel days per year.
Personality matters
As a person you possess the ability to facilitate and lead others to create a culture of continuous improvement. You have well-developed problem-solving and communication skills that enable you to drive change across the organization. You can work both independently and in teams and you possess the confidence and personal robustness to withstand pressure without compromising quality. You are self-driven and structured and motivated by delivering on multiple projects at the same time and have an eagerness to learn and improve. You are able to inspire your team and colleagues and build organizational quality capability.
You hold a Master’s degree in Engineering or similar and have minimum 5 years of experience from a similar position, where you have gained a solid knowledge of managing quality.

You are fluent in English and Danish both written and oral.

- Step change internal and external claims handling
- Step change and reduce total cost of quality including scrap reduction
- Secure that customer perceived quality is known across Operations and used to optimize customer value
- Lift the learning and improvement culture related to quality

- Have experience with automated mass production with high mix and variance
- Have a proven track record in lifting organizational capability within Quality Assurance
- Understand the technical production aspects of assembly, PCB, product configuration and testing
- Can apply an systematic, process oriented and analytical approach to quality execution across the full value chain
You are fluent in English and Danish both written and oral.
