Kamstrup is a Danish technology company and one of the world’s leading manufacturer of intelligent metering solutions. We experience significant demand for our products and focus massively on development and production of intelligent metering equipment and systems for energy and water consumption. As the current Head of Business Area Marketing is moving to another exciting position in Kamstrup, we are searching for a new Head of Marketing to join a great Marketing function consisting of 30+ colleagues.
With a direct reference to our Vice President Marketing, you will lead a recently established Business Area Marketing department which currently consists of 8 dedicated Marketing Managers and regional marketeers working within their own business area – an entirely talented, ambitious and fun bunch of people. Apart from Business Area Marketing, the Marketing function consists of Market Intelligence, Branding, Communication, Digital Marketing, Sales Process and Tools and an onsite agency. Moreover, you will in this position become a member of the Marketing Leadership Team.
A job with focus on people management and commercialization
As Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for supporting our business areas in reaching their business objectives by growing the awareness of the Kamstrup brand and developing and implementing customer oriented marketing programmes with engaging and value-based content generating leads for sales.
More specifically, your primary responsibilities will be to:

Personality matters
We are looking for a result-oriented Head of Marketing with a strong commercial mindset. You hold a Master’s degree in Marketing, International Business or similar and have at least 5 years leadership experience as well as at least 8 years of relevant marketing experience in a B2B and international context with documented results. Your managerial style is characterized by being a leader who believe that high performing teams have the right balance between team performance and team feeling.
As a person you have personal drive and a positive mindset and know how motivate and empower people around you. You are a strong collaborator and build trustful relationships with employees and colleagues. You have a deep understanding of the sales and marketing processes, the marketing toolbox as well as a strong strategic and business acumen to understand key drivers of profitability and the impact of marketing decisions. Furthermore, you find it motivating to prove how marketing can generate quality leads and ultimately revenue.
It is a requirement that you master English on a high level, both orally and written. Danish will be an advantage.

- Support Marketing Managers and Regional Marketing colleagues in translating the Business Areas’ objectives into marketing plans targeting selected markets
- Ensure that KPI’s are set and measured to ensure continuous improvement
- Develop team members and gradually expand the team to support Kamstrup’s ambitious growth targets outside Denmark
- Work cross-functionally with key business area stakeholders to support and provide sparring on the development of go-to-market strategies for new and existing products and services
- Act as Marketing Manager to support Business Area Electricity especially on account based marketing
