Team leader Product Reliability Engineering

Leadership in a complex area
You will be leading a very skilled team who is supporting the organization with their expertise in product quality assessment and reliability testing. The team is developing in the direction of getting earlier involved in development projects with reliability assessments and evaluation of concepts from a quality perspective. Together with the team, the role of the team leader will be to introduce an efficient mode of working to conduct our reliability test and quality assessment required to deliver the best reliability product in the market.
You will be leading a product reliability engineering team of 12 skilled engineers and technicians. The team delivers documented mechanical and environmental test and verification for hearing aids, chargers and implants.
What are we offering?
Your responsibility is to ensure that product quality and reliability issues are clarified and handled before launch. You do that in close corporation with R&D using development tests, quality assessments, verifications and failure analysis.
You will be responsible for test laboratories in Denmark as well as in Poland and you need to make sure they are qualified for delivering test to medical device certified development. You will secure test capacity in own teams in Denmark and Poland and develop new test methods and adjust capacity where needed.
The main focus is Leadership for the team. You need to be skilled in leading a cross cultural group at two sites. The leader must be strong in stakeholder management across the organizations because your main interfaces are R&D, Quality and Operations for hearing aids as well as R&D for implants. Another success criteria is to foster talents for the quality organization through onboarding younger test engineers.
Competences
Minimum 3 years of Leadership experience from an organization having own development. Engineering or similar background within relevant field. Background in Hardware or experienced in product reliability work.
