Are you passionate about analysing patient and HPC level data and translating those into concise insights? Can you lead BI projects, and do you want to be part of building and improving our analytical environment in the cloud? Would you like to collaborate across analytical teams in Novo Nordisk? If you have solid experience working with big data preferably from the pharmaceutical industry, we are looking for a person like you as our new Sr. Global Customer Insights Manager.
About the department
Our team impacts brand strategy and tactics development across the Novo Nordisk diabetes, obesity and biopharm portfolio in close collaboration with key internal stakeholders in marketing, market access and key affiliates. We conduct anonymised patient data analysis, execute market research projects and drive analytical projects and processes to support brand teams, early project teams and senior management in strategic decision making. In joining us, you will have the opportunity to become part of an international, high performing team responsible for generating customer insights on physicians and patients, and translating these into impactful recommendations.
The job
You will drive analysis in longitudinal patient level databases which contains billions of records, using SAS, SQL, R or similar programming tools. From the patient level analysis, you will generate insights that provide strategic and tactical recommendations for key brands in diabetes, obesity and other therapeutic areas.
In this role, you will maintain a strong collaboration with brand teams, patient access, regions, affiliates and the extended team in Bangalore, and generate “best in class” patient and HCP level insights related to treatment dynamics, patient comorbidities and patient outcomes.
We are evolving our robust analytical infrastructure and you will also be responsible for building and improving our analytical environment in AWS, including tasks related to data governance, data management and data analysis. Moreover, you will be working with internal and external stakeholders to build our next data analytics solution in the cloud.
Preferably, you have experience with managing BI projects successfully from start to finish, you have the ability to motivate a small project team around you, and you are open to learn and explore new solutions.
Finally, you are highly motivated to work in a small team that covers multiple functions (e.g. data governance, data management and data analysis) and enjoys analytics and collaborating with peers in Novo Nordisk.
The role requires a combination of strong analytical, programming and advanced Excel skills.
Qualifications
You have a master’s degree in economics, science, IT or business. You have experience in working with big data using SAS, SQL, R or other programming tools in a business environment and can effectively communicate results to stakeholders at all levels. You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in big data analysis, economics, modelling, statistics or the like. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage. Fluency in both oral and written English and good communication skills are required.
