Head of Group Controlling and Reporting
Would you like to lead our ambitious Group Controlling department? Do you aspire to be part of the green transition in an international growing company and work on preparing the company for a potential public listing? Then you might be our new colleague!
European Energy is an international company in exponential growth. We develop, build and operate wind and solar parks globally as well as Power-to-X. Consequently, we play a significant role in resolving the climate issues by reducing the world’s CO2 emissions. We are more than 425 employees with 30+ different nationalities employed, and we have installed green energy projects for over 22.5 billion DKK since 2004. We work from our HQ in Copenhagen and our 14 global offices.
As our new Head of Group Controlling and Reporting, you will lead and develop a highly skilled team of 6 specialists and ensure that the Group Finance department is well managed and run efficiently. You will be the overall responsible for the quarterly and annual reporting under IFRS for the 550+ consolidated entities in our Group and you will get to have an integral part in the preparation for a potential public listing of European Energy.
In your role you will have much collaboration with the rest of the organization with a particular close link to our Accounting and Financial Controlling teams. In order to be a success in the role you have good communication skills and find yourself working well with internal stakeholders across departments at all levels as well as external stakeholders. You moreover thrive working in an international environment with fast growth.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Group Controlling team
- Responsible for the quarterly and annual reporting
- Responsible for IFRS, consolidation, and compliance
- Enhance internal reporting processes
- Organize a broad range of projects in the Group Controlling area
Your Profile
- You have +3 years of experience from a similar position
- You have experience from an international company
- You hold a Graduate Diploma (HD-R) or master’s degree (cand.merc.aud)
- You have solid leadership and communication skills
- You have full professional proficiency in English
- You are very experienced working with Hyperion (HFM) or other consolidation tools and IFRS
