Assistant for German Commercial Asset Management

European Energy is a Danish privately owned company in rapid growth. We construct wind and photovoltaic (PV) projects as well as PtX, from greenfield development to construction, operation, and divestment. Our Group with more than 400 employees has since 2004 installed more than 2.0 GW of renewable energy. We operate globally and employ 30 different nationalities at our HQ in Copenhagen and our 16 other global offices. We are looking for a German-speaking Commercial Asset Management Assistant to join our skilled Asset Management team. The team is handling the commercial and technical management of our renewable energy assets from the commencement of operations. One of the team’s main goals is the optimization of the operating assets throughout their lifespan. As our new colleague, you will assist the team of Commercial Asset Managers in relation to the operation and asset management of the solar and wind assets in Germany. You will work closely with the rest of our German team and get the opportunity to assist in the further development of our asset management function.

Areas of responsibility


  • Assist the team with a variety of administrative and ad-hoc tasks, including handling documents and data, as well as inquiries to business partners and small research tasks
  • Assist with revenue control, i.e., verification of power settlements, monitor compensation payments for grid curtailment and assist the team in developing and maintaining respective tools
  • Be responsible for monitoring incoming mail and make sure it is received by the responsible asset manager, answer small inquiries, and assist with correspondence
  • Prepare the calculation of monthly revenue allocations among operating companies
  • Be point of contact for land lessors of our German assets and assist with the preparation and calculation of annual land lease payments
  • Assist Commercial Asset Managers in collecting data for specific purposes
  • Support the team in the development, population, and maintenance of databases

Professional skills we expect from you


  • You have a bachelor’s degree
  • It is good if you have experience in administration and from a dynamic work environment
  • You are very structured and have a hands-on approach to a variety of tasks, from routine assignments to one-time ad-hoc tasks
  • You work independently, take responsibility, and effectively support the team
  • You thrive with having many tasks at once and know how to set priorities
  • You have great communication skills, and you are good at connecting with people as well as you enjoy working and collaborating in a team
  • You have good IT skills – especially Microsoft Excel
  • You are fully proficient in German and English
