Overall responsibility
The Head of Production is a member of the Management Group, in the strategic and operational work with focus on growth and expansion – and with a central role as sparring partner for the Site Manager and CEO.
The Head of Production has the overall responsibility for production related equipment and -technique – including management of 13 employees and 2 production team leads.
The Head of Production has on top of this a close cooperation with the Supply Chain Manager regarding all production planning.
Areas of responsibility
This role is new, and it’s natural that the new Head of Production will have the opportunity to focus on growth, adapt and fine tune the structure and processes in production.

AsirosNordic specializes in organic and conventional products and organic domestically grown raw materials have high priority, while it also focuses on having minimal effect on the environment. AsirosNordic is currently implementing a new business strategy which will transform the company into a life science company with focus on developing nutraceutical products which is a global market segment worth more than USD 400 billion. The company also have its own scientific team combined with different partnership models.
AsirosNordic launched a new website 2023 stressing its new strategic direction.

This role is new, and it’s natural that the new Head of Production will have the opportunity to focus on growth, adapt and fine tune the structure and processes in production.
The task will contain:
- Sparring partner for the CEO, Site Manager/Sales Director, and board
- Overall responsibility for production (equipment and technique)
- To drive processes and structure in growth and expansion
- Including automation/digitalization
- Support the high ambition of double-digit growth globally in the nutraceutical business segment
- Management of 13 employees and 2 production team leads
- Deliver excellent day to day operational performance from KPI’s
- Develop proactive and effective relationships with key functions such as QA & QC
- Secure that all equipment is maintained as planned and developed
- To drive and execute on agreed tasks, within technique, production and employees
- Cooperate with the Supply Chain Manager regarding all production planning
- Create better and more transparent data for better decision making
- Build the production KPI’s of the future setup together with CEO and Site Manager/Sales Director
Qualification and experience:
- An education on B.Sc. or M.Sc. level in production/engineering/manufacturing
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with production and production equipment
- Proven track record as Production Manager, Head of Production or similar
- Experience from the brewery, dairy or juice industry is an advantage
- MS 365 user
- A leader who is curious and listening
- Understand the operational production/equipment and with a holistic mindset
- Strategic, proactive, and self-motivating
- Likes to work with a fast speed and a high drive
- Preference to influence, create and develop
