Head of Commercial IT-Applications to Royal Unibrew

Royal Unibrew is experiencing rapid growth and expansion, and where IT is an integral part of all business areas and plans. From IT, this requires, e.g., technology and architecture to drive innovation, stability and standardization, proactive business partnering and not least efficient and business-centered project management.

The role works out of Royal Unibrew’s Group HQ in Faxe, with flexibility to work from home when suitable, and it covers Commercial IT-applications internationally across all markets. The role reports directly to the CIO and is part of Group IT’s management team. Expected travelling will, on average, be 2-3 days monthly.

Management, development and support of the digital commercial agenda


In this role, you are responsible for the application development, implementation and support of applications and solutions related to commercial activities. You manage a small team of three highly skilled Consultants within MS CRM, Apps, Mobile solutions and Master Data, where you make sure to continuously develop their skills and capabilities to meet the emerging needs from the business.

Besides managing your team and keeping an overview of and prioritizing the projects, you make business cases and presentations to the Executive Management and drive the Steering Group for the Commercial area. In addition, you are responsible for budget management, aligning plans and priorities directly with key stakeholders across the different markets, and occasionally, you act as project manager in strategically important projects / international rollouts.

A visionary consultancy profile, who knows what the business needs and wants


We believe that you hold a relevant bachelor or master degree that has equipped you with a strong abstraction level, analytical skills and business acumen. Your background may be from a combination of consultancy and industry experience perhaps in an international company, where the commercial agenda has played an integral part. Your possible experience as Consultant has equipped you with the ability to communicate to and be a facilitator between business and IT.

You have some experience from people- and project management, where you have identified business needs and translated these to be executed by IT. Your IT-knowledge is sufficient to draw an IT-roadmap and to challenge solutions made by your employees and vendors – and you have implemented solutions within eCommerce, Apps and digital Commercial applications with good results. You are of course fluent in English.

As a person, you have a strong focus on results and prefer to take one small step forward rather than waiting for the perfect solution. People management comes naturally to you, and you consider yourself to be an empathetic and caring leader, who can set boundaries and objectives, with respect to your team’s skills and motivation. As a leader, you are ambitious about what you and your team can achieve, and you know when to push and support others. You combine your experience and skills with a pragmatic approach, a great smile and a good sense of humor.
