Head of Global HR to Pascal – World leading provider of amplifier solutions


A great opportunity to take on a Head of Global HR role, where you will work with the entire HR value chain from processes, structures to development and strategic advice to the CEO, the Leadership team, and support to the managers globally. The HR foundation has been established, and now you can add your personal touch and develop HR to be a true value-adding partner to the business. You will thus play a key role in developing HR concepts, implementing policies and processes, and continuing to ensure a good framework for attracting and retaining employees across functions and markets.

Pascal can be described as an early start-up company that is moving towards being a global scale-up company that is growing in number of employees and geographical reach. This means that there is an increasing need for alignment and congruency, and as Global Head of HR, you will have great room to navigate and opportunities to put your mark on things.

Your primary workplace will be in Herlev, where Pascal’s HQ is situated and the majority of the employees, and you must be flexible about travelling up to 20-30 days yearly.

The job


As Head of Global HR, you will, with reference to the CEO, set the HR agenda and priorities for what is needed to make Pascal even more attractive to existing and new employees and to ensure uniform standards and processes across the countries. In collaboration with the CEO, and the rest of the Leadership team, you will identify needs and requirements to HR from the organization.

As part of your job, it is natural for you to “sell” HR as a value-creating partner, and where you understand how your initiatives can support the full supply chain in a global scale-up. One of your most important focus areas will be to define and execute policies and templates as well as implementing initiatives to attract, develop and retain employees. Furthermore, some of your responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop an annual HR-plan for people, processes and initiatives and prioritize these, and ensure local legislative compliance for these initiatives in the individual markets.
  • Together with the Leadership team ensure a unison approach to policies and guidelines concerning bonuses, awards, and more, in the HQ, the US and in the local markets.
  • Ensure and execute onboarding and offboarding of employees, directly or through managers.
  • Set the frame for developing a pragmatic and congruent performance management culture.
  • Recruitment to HQ and regional management roles, directly, and through local managers or through external partners.
  • Register and use data to make sound decisions and be able to track costs, time to hire, vacancies, etc.
  • Coach and support management team and staff in their development.

Everything you do will directly support the business strategy, while at the same time developing and implementing HR concepts and processes. Please note that Pascal manages payroll in Denmark and the US, while, in other markets, they are supported by external partners. Also, the managers are relatively self-driven in most recruitments. Finally, you will experience support from a CEO, who takes interest in people and their development; in other words, HR is experienced as a key partner to the business.

Your profile


Most importantly, you have a passion for making a difference – to people and processes. Next to this, you want to both set the cornerstones and make the plans, as well as defining the processes in detail and execute the plans. You are proactive by nature and thrive in an independent and broadly scoped role, where your ability to create structures, define guidelines and establish an overview are welcome skills. In your approach to others, you demonstrate multicultural empathy, and you develop trusting relationships through appreciative dialogue.

Your experience


We see the perfect match for the role as being a versatile HR professional, with an international outlook and who provides high-quality support across the entire employee lifecycle. You have some experience in developing and implementing processes and procedures, and towards the business, you contribute with knowledge about the Danish employment law and experience in training and developing managers to excellence. Specifically, we ask you to be able to reply positively to following:

  • A broad HR-generalist profile in development, recruitment, payroll administration, operations, comp&ben and some experience in HR-partnering.
  • Knowledge of HR-legal issues for white collar employees, with experience in drafting/managing contract templates.
  • Experienced user of MS Office (Excel, PP and Word) and used to navigate in HR-systems.
  • Native language in Danish and high proficiency in English.
