Can you take an ambitious company's current IT agenda to the next level of excellence in the wind industry? Does your strong business understanding, solid IT knowledge and system insight, as well as execution power enable you to support the overall strategy so that the ambitions are fulfilled? Then you might be the one we are looking for at Global Wind Service in Fredericia.
Focus on IT support initiatives and better utilization of digitalization
Reporting to the CFO, you will be heading a team of three IT supporters – all based in Poland. Your role is to define and implement global IT strategies and roadmaps and ensure it supports the overall company strategy. You will be a key driver in the implementation and continuous improvement of systems and tools as well as the overall responsible for the IT support and general IT user experience. More specifically, the responsibilities are to:
Being strategically responsible for IT and digitalization, you will have a very independent and challenging job in a highly international environment and industry – an industry that is constantly growing. Furthermore, you should expect up to 30 travelling days per year.
Hands on and strong business acumen
You hold a relevant IT education that brings a broad understanding of computer systems, computer applications and operating systems. You have solid experience in the design, development and implementation of information technology, and communications systems, with a proven strong track record from IT implementation projects. You are data driven and have a sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc., and you are strong in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications. On a more personal note, you are a strong team player who understands the importance of good relations. You are hands-on and outgoing, and you work proactively, persistently and in a structured way. You are ambitious, and you find it natural to spot opportunities and digital trends. Finally, you have excellent communication skills and master English at a professional level.

- Setting direction for support and IT user experience
- Vendor management
