As Senior HR Business Partner at USTC you will join the central HR Department and support one of the largest subsidiaries within the USTC Group. The group activities cover supply of bunkers to the shipping industry, tanker shipping, door-to-door logistics, risk management, and IT-activities. The group consists of independent companies such as Bunker Holding Group, SDK/Freja, Uni-Tankers, Selected Car Group, CM Biomass and Unit IT.
SDK is the portal to effective solutions for shipping, logistics and chartering as well as services for the cruise industry.
With direct report to the Chief Human Resource Officer in USTC, you will join a team consisting of the Lead Senior Business Partner and a Senior HR Business Partner team covering all companies within USTC. You will play an essential role as key driver of integrating HR deliveries within the company and SDK. However, your focus will be to drive the Senior HR Business Partner deliveries in SDK to begin with.
In the role as HR Business Partner, you will – over time – be working in close collaboration with the management team within SDK, to ensure that all HR-related initiatives are aligned with and prioritized according to the company’s goals and business plans and delivered on a local, regional, and global scale.
Furthermore, as the key HR representative, the Senior HR Business Partner will take part in building the yearly HR roadmap to ensure that the strategic priorities are converted into tangible value-driven HR deliverables, to begin with in the SDK part of the business.
The candidate will join a team of currently 4 dedicated colleagues in USTC and work primarily with the SDK part of the business. The Senior HR Business Partner will be supported by specialist knowledge and competencies from USTC HR Centre of Excellence concerning design, execution and continuous follow up on HR initiatives and deliverables.
Your qualifications come from minimum 5+ years directly related HR experience – preferably from an international organisation or consultancy firm.
You have a very strong commercial flair and interest and want to take part in building and delivering world-class HR across all the USTC companies in close partnership with the business.
To succeed in the role, you possess a very high level of business, commercial, and strategic understanding. In addition, you have a versatile and in-depth HR toolbox with knowledge of “best practices” applied to the given context. Extensive knowledge of the typical HR processes in the annual HR cycle. Strong stakeholder management skills with a proven track-record of HR business co-creations, which deliver ROI.
You thrive in the duality of working with tactical HR business planning while also being closely involved in the daily HR operations.
Domicile and travelling: Primary workplace is Taastrup, Denmark. 2 times a week the position will be located at the Head Office of USTC – Middelfart, Denmark.
