As our new Manager you will be Head of the Cost Estimating and Risk Management department and report to the director area, Project Controls.
Your team will consist of 9 people with different skills and experience that support NNE’s cost estimating and risk management activities across projects.
Our continuous commitment is to deliver as experts, be the professional partner and trusted advisor for the project teams and clients.
We are working in a matrix organization and as Head of the department you will be responsible for supporting and developing the team and building new competences and capabilities, which can support our projects and clients.
We provide support to account management and Project managers to build the budgets and total investments required to complete a project. We develop the tools and processes which are required to improve the estimates and present the associated risks. This requires continuous collaboration with our internal engineering team, Cost Controller and Procurement teams to capture historic and present data, but also understanding of what is expected and required by our clients.
Your department is overall a part of the Project Execution area with more than 400 highly skilled project employees.
As a part of the Project Execution team, you embrace it is a busy and dynamic environment and find it interesting to work with internal and external stakeholders to get through with your ideas. Opportunities are plenty and we are ready to invest in the right ideas.

As a Manager in Cost Estimating and Risk management , you’ll be working with a high performing and multi-disciplinary team where you’ll:
- motivate, support and coach your team. Provide day-to-day leadership and articulate and develop the strategic vision for your team. Continuously searching for professional quality.
- ensure role model stakeholder management and business partnering. In particular ensure a positive relationship and efficient collaboration and communication with customers and various internal stakeholders.
- drive a one team mindset across NNE offices.
- Governing and developing the processes and systems to ensure effective execution in our projects
setting the right teams for the project and allocate resources across projects. - promote the development, implementation, and training of best cost estimating and risk management practices.
- ensure the well-being and continuous growth of the team.
- engage and communicate with senior management on successes, issues and lessons learned and share these across NNE’s organization.

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- Minimum a bachelor’s degree
- Experience with leadership and management of team
- At least 5 years of relevant cost estimating experience with EPCI projects. Preferably within the pharma industry.
- Skillsets and competences with processes and systems related to cost estimating of larger multidisciplinary projects
- Experience with establishing and driving performance of remote teams
- Experienced in performance management and process improvements
- Thrive best in a busy environment with highly skilled colleagues but understand the benefit of a strategy and a good plan.
- Preferably understanding of and experience with project organizations and governance structures
