The duties of the assistant professorship include research, education, administrative and management tasks.

The Research Unit of Muscle Physiology and Biomechanics carries out research and teaching with focus on the adaptive plasticity of skeletal muscle and neuromuscular function in response to physical performance, inactivity, musculoskeletal injury, aging and health.
