The position As a Graphic Designer you will be a key player as a participant in design development projects of secondary packaging material for new products or variations, while ensuring production conditions and complying with health authority requirements. As part of our department, you will be responsible for:
  • Creation of packaging material design for Novo Nordisk A/S by using various graphics software following industry regulations
  • Planning, coordination and executing of regulatory activities and deliverables, e.g. machine tests and test set-ups.
  • Adjust, improve and make changes accordingly when receiving requests from production lines, thereby ensuring high quality on the printed final product
  • Collaborate closely with project management team and production lines on multiple projects, proactively taking the lead on processes, conducting meetings and acting as a subject matter expert
  • While this role is not suitable for a creative artist, it is an essential position for creation of print feasible artwork and labelling that safeguards our patients. Qualifications We're seeking candidates who fulfil the following prerequisites:
  • Graphic education from a Technical School, Multi Media School or other training covering the graphical artwork
  • Minimum of 4 years of graphical production in printed format, with demonstrated understanding of colour theory and colour spaces, e.g. Pantone and CMYK colours
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. CAD tools helpful but not required
  • Knowledge on design guidelines, style sheets and Pharmaceutical Regulations and Guidelines in a global setting is an advantage
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English, knowledge of Danish is an advantage
  • Furthermore, you have a strong drive enabling you to persistently pursue goals, achieve results and multitask in a dynamic environment with many changing priorities. You have a curious approach to your tasks and take pride in learning new skills and techniques as well as passing them on as a subject matter expert. Your ability of collaboration and teamwork shines through when building trusting relationships with our stakeholders in a global, hybrid setting, and you actively contribute to high quality results and a positive work environment. About the department Graphics and Tests is part of Labelling Development in the Global Regulatory affairs organisation. The unit operates in a fast-changing field, that makes a meaningful difference to our business, making medicines available to patients all over the world. Labelling Development is responsible for the development of printed packaging material designs for all new Novo Nordisk products and life cycle management projects. We also drive the colour selection process, feeding into both packaging material and device development. Your colleagues in Labelling Development will be project leads and a few colleagues with technical skills within graphic design, and you will also work closely together with our graphic design team in Bangalore.
