As an Integration Architect you will be part of a team responsible for defining solutions and guidelines for integration solutions in our IT Landscape. You will work with development teams & stakeholders in various locations, such as Bangalore, Maidenhead (UK), Charlotte (US), Guangzhou (China) and Copenhagen (Denmark).
The integration architect is responsible for design and successful technical delivery of integration solutions that meet the business needs. He/she will coordinate with Enterprise architecture and other architecture teams in order to come up with viable solutions that comply with Maersk EA guidelines.
As an integration architect you will be part of a team performing the following tasks:
• Conduct analysis of requirements. Design integration solutions compliant with Enterprise architecture guidelines and patterns.
• Create guidelines and rules for developers, mappers and operations teams and provide governance to ensure such rules are followed.
• Provide guidance to engineers and developers for applying best practices and developing efficient solutions.
• Conduct review of design ideas and provide guidance for solution design.
• Participate in review of solution documentation ensuring it is according to the requirements, is of high quality and in accordance with guidelines and best practices.
• Highlight risks and issues that affect development, deliveries or platform.
• Develop proof of concepts
• Collaborate with integration engineers, developers, architects and/or analysts to understand requirements and designs to develop solution designs.
• Analyze health and performance of solutions. Recommend improvements as needed.
• Assist in production issue resolution and root cause analysis.
• Build strong collaborative relationships with integration engineers, architects, software engineers, analysts and vendor/supplier staff.
• Form strong and trusted relationship with the Product Owner; ensuring that the Product Owner is fully aware of the technical capabilities and shortcomings of product allowing for sensible technical investment and debt repayment decisions.
• Participate in the evolution of company level best practices, standards, and policies related to integration solutions.
Must have
• Many years of working knowledge on different EDI platforms like OpenText, Sterling Integrator, Seeburger, Axway Product Suites.
• Detailed knowledge of Seeburger tools with ability to provide subject matter expert advice in use of features and functions
• Experience working with all/some of the following Seeburger tools and concepts(Trading Partner Profile Management, Use of Compliance Check, Seeburger canonical models, Seeburger process flow definitions, Process maps, Partner maps)
• Knowledge of EDI transactions types (ANSI X12 and/or EDIFACT and XML schemas)
• Strong knowledge of EAI patterns
• Good knowledge of SOAP and REST API’s and how to secure them
• Working knowledge of AS2, SFTP, FTP, FTPS, HTTP/S data communication protocols
• Good knowledge of security – platform security, secure communications, encryption. Use of certificates and keys to secure communications.
• Experience developing integration solutions
• Solid understanding of databases and experience with SQL
• Strong analytical skills
• Solid experience performing trouble shooting and debugging
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English). Good documentation skills.
• Good knowledge of UML and Archimate.

• Experience with data exchange protocols, such as SFTP, AS2, FTP(/s), http
