Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences
University of Copenhagen

We are looking for a motivated bioinformatician with extensive experience in developing computational tools and building data workflows/pipelines to support the work at the Metabolomics Platform. The position will commence October 1, 2022, or after agreement.

Our research
The Center (CBMR) was established in 2010 through a generous, unrestricted grant from the Novo Nordisk Foundation (NNF). The vision of the Center is to strengthen interdisciplinary research that transforms our basic understanding of the mechanisms of metabolic health and disease, and to accelerate this knowledge toward new prevention and treatment strategies. In 2018, the Center obtained new strategic funding from NNF including substantial funding to establish and/or develop five enabling biology and technology platforms in support of the new research strategy. Read more about us at http://cbmr.ku.dk.

The Metabolomics Platform at CBMR was established in 2019. The aim of the platform is to apply and develop metabolomics-, data science- and systems biology tools to broaden the understanding of metabolites involved in the pathogenesis of metabolic disease. You can read more about the platform at https://cbmr.ku.dk/researchfacilities/metabolomics.
