You will join our Bridge department in Copenhagen
As our new Junior Bridge Engineer, you will be part of a team consisting of roughly 30 experts within bridge engineering. The department has earlier mainly worked on the Danish market but are now also actively pursuing opportunities outside Denmark. We are currently delivering projects in Scandinavia and in central and southern Europe.
We mainly focus on new railway, road and footbridges but also have significant experience within movable bridges. We are furthermore on a national level involved in loads on and safety of structures and implementation of bridge specific Eurocodes.
You will be expected to take initiative to learn more. For help and guidance, you will be working with experienced designers and drafters, with vast knowledge of all aspects of bridge engineering. Your workplace will be Ramboll Head Office in Copenhagen but due to the international nature of our business, traveling activities are to be expected since our colleagues and clients are located on different geographical locations and projects might require relocation for shorter or longer periods.
We use the most modern software to analyze, visualize and design bridges such as Sofistik, AutoCAD, Microstation, Tekla, etc. You are expected to take on work where this software are required to deliver top class projects in all phases of the project life cycle. Our typical client is a contractor, experienced in bridge construction.

- A master’s degree within engineering and construction with specialization within structural engineering and heavy construction
- Some experience within the field, either from an internship, student job or graduate position
- Fluency in written and spoken English – Danish, Swedish or Norwegian is an advantage but not a prerequisite
