You will join our Geophysics and Geohydrology department
As our new Senior Engineer/Hydrogeologist you will be part of a very strong technical environment in our team of hydrogeologists, which currently consists of nine employees. We cooperate closely with other professional clusters in other departments of Ramboll and with the other specialists within geophysics in the department.

We are a busy team, and you will therefore be working on a number of different exciting tasks, such as:

  • Groundwater management for excavations during the construction phase of building and construction projects, including feasibility studies for dewatering, design of dewatering systems, authority process and supervision. Included are assessment of the impact of dewatering on the environment and of the stability of excavations
  • Assessment of design groundwater levels for the construction phase and operational phase
  • Groundwater cooling/heating systems
  • Groundwater well development for drinking water, heating and cooling
  • Professional development of junior colleagues
  • Project management
  • Discipline lead of multidisciplinary projects
  • Working with other senior members of the team
  • Cooperate across departments in Ramboll, including geophysicists and geotechnical engineers


Your starting point for constant growth
From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:

  • A master’s degree in construction, geotechnics, engineering geology, hydrodynamics or similar
  • Substantial (10+ years’) experience as a consultant or contractor
  • Professional working proficiency in written and spoken Danish and English


Despite your proven track record, you are keen on keeping yourself up to date to develop further within the area of groundwater management. Your skillset within applied hydrogeology is respected in the market and you are comfortable navigating in projects with many stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, authorities, etc.

You maintain the overview during sometimes hectic workdays, and you have an outgoing, cooperative and positive approach to your project members and projects. You show professional commitment and participate actively in the continued development of the professional area in Ramboll.

On top of this you have a strong head for mathematics, a sound understanding of groundwater physics, and easily handle large amounts of data in data bases and spread sheets.
