You will be working close together with colleagues in Denmark, Norway and other parts of the world.<br>

The team is a good mix of younger and more experienced colleagues with lots of interesting, challenging and varied projects to deliver in the near future within the Green Energy transition and Energy sector, participating in the transition to greener fuels such as hydrogen, methanol and ammonia. The focus areas of the Safety Department are onshore and offshore facilities within Power-to-X/Waste-to-X technologies, Carbon Capture technologies and Offshore Wind mostly in North Europe, but also in other parts of the world. Through engineering and consultancy services we cover all safety aspects of such projects including concept and feasibility studies, detailed engineering, owners engineering and permitting.</p><p><br>
Our core competences are: HSE management /risk management during the engineering stages of projects (process safety, technical safety, functional safety and working environment) or permitting stages with risk identification (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA and Design Reviews), risk assessment (QRA) and risk treatment (ALARP). We are a busy and energetic team with a positive mindset, always looking for the next challenge.</p><p> </p><p>Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:</p><ul><li>Lead and coordinate work as Discipline Lead for the Safety discipline within multidiscipline projects</li><li>Lead, coordinate and prepare safety documentation within the areas of process safety, technical safety and functional safety on projects</li><li>Prepare HSE Plan and Safety Philosophy (incl. establishing risk acceptance criteria) on projects</li><li>Prepare Performance Standards for safety barriers (SECE) on projects</li><li>Lead and/or participate in safety workshops on projects where you will be responsible for workshop preparation and facilitation (including HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA and ALARP workshops)</li><li>Evaluate risk and risk reducing measures according to the ALARP principle (incl. cost benefit analysis and bow-tie analysis) on projects</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Your starting point for constant growth</strong></p><p>From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:</p><ul><li>M.Sc. or B. Sc. Degree in Engineering or Natural Science Education (e.g. Physics, Mathematics, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemistry)</li><li>Minimum 7 years of experience as Safety Engineer from Energy sector</li><li>Understanding of work required to perform thorough HSE management through the engineering stages of projects</li><li>Exposure and understanding of the fundamentals of process safety (e.g. HAZOP and IEC 61882), technical safety (e.g. FERA, ATEX and IEC 60079), functional safety (e.g. LOPA, SIL, SRS and IEC 61511) and working environment/human factor (e.g. WEHRA)</li><li>Experience with leading and coordinating work as Discipline Lead for the Safety discipline within multidiscipline projects</li><li>Excellent English skills, since this is our corporate language</li></ul><p> </p><p>Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: self-driven, proactive and result oriented.
