Job Description
Danfoss Cooling Segment (DCS) is looking for a Product Manager within High Pressure Pumps in Nordborg. You will be leading the cross-functional product team, which is responsible for products such as axial piston pumps and energy recovery devices for high-pressure reverse osmosis applications. Becoming part of this team, you ensure pure drinking water to those most in need achieved by the best and most energy efficient quality products on the market.
Your role is to actively define and execute clear and innovative product strategies covering all phases of the product lifecycle, from first idea to controlled discontinuation, to ensure complexity, revenue and profit meet the expected targets. Furthermore, your main responsibilities include ensuring efficient product portfolio by developing new business cases and leading the launch of new products. Also, optimization of product profitability through pricing, the market mix and suggested cost improvements are essential.
You will be the link between the external stakeholders (sales team and customers) and the internal organization (engineering, marketing supply chain and R&D). You will need to be able to navigate in a rapidly changing environment focusing on constant forward progress towards our overall goal. Your success will depend on the increase of the group profit of the assigned products, solving all the listed key tasks and in maintaining the organization (all stakeholders) aligned, through strong communication.
As a person you are self-driven, proactive and persistent. The job requires that you have a strong focus on tasks and are able to analyze situations, systems, and problems. Different problems will arise daily and require rapid decision-making that are in line with the overall strategy and purpose of the organization. Last but not least, you are a good team player who can interact with others, across borders and cultures. Some travel activities must be expected.
Background and skills
To be considered for this position, you must have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/
Mechatronics engineering or business combined with a strong technical understanding, as well as:

- Min. 3 years’ experience as product-, segment- or project manager
- Experience with pumps and valves for industrial applications
- Basic project management experience
- Great communication skills
- Fluent and comprehensive English
