Job Description
Danfoss is looking for a Sourcing Project Manager to join Danfoss Power Solutions’ Global Procurement Organization. We are assembling a highly skilled and dynamic team to setup and run a world class factory in Nordborg. Here we will be producing new electrification products that represent a very important future business for Danfoss.
As Sourcing Project Manager, you will be allocated this new project. You will be working closely with Danfoss Editron – a business unit that develops and manufactures hybrid and electric powertrain systems for the marine, on- and off-highway, and renewables markets based on the unique synchronous reluctance assisted permanent magnet (SRPM) technology.

Responsibilities
The key challenge in this position is to successfully initiate, plan and design projects with excellent execution and control to deliver on time while maintaining quality and cost targets. You will be driving the procurement agenda in a matrix environment, working both cross-functionally and globally in close collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders as you will be supporting new product development projects. You will plan and manage projects from end-to-end, ensuring that all procurement deliverables are met on time according to the project plan.

- Master or Bachelor’s Engineering degree topped with solid commercial understanding or a Commercial degree. Candidates with an educational background or professional knowledge within Electronics or related fields are preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience within sourcing and project management – ideally within Electronics and Electro-mechanics. Experience from a PCBA industry or with IATF supplier quality standards is an advantage.
- Superb project and task management skills along with experience in leading and participating in project teams.
- The ability to maneuver in a changing and fast-paced environment and across different cultures.
- Experience in contract negotiations or willingness to learn.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
