Primo Danmark A/S is looking to strengthen the operational set-up at the site in Tistrup. Therefore, they are looking for an experienced Lean and Production Engineer to both identify possible changes and thereafter implement them.
Lean tools at work! Optimisation of production lines – boards, digitalisation and automation
As Lean and Production Engineer in Primo Danmark A/S you will be instrumental in driving the journey for Primo on LEAN /optimisation of their many production lines.
The operational part is keeping the current operation up and running, observing processes, registration of deviations, and investigations. You will help developing the production, optimise master data, internal workflows and providing optimisation input for toolmaking and the processes. Furthermore, it includes updating or making new instructions/SOPs.
An important part is to further the lean implementation in operations. Improving and developing the boards in the production. As digitalization of production is already well on the way – part of the job is looking into how to implement IOT and how to automate the production even more.
You will be free to use the full Lean toolbox with assignment like; optimization of the factory layout and the goods-flow through the production. You will act as project manager of Kaizen projects, which all should result in an improved productivity e.g., changeovers of machinery, through-put time, waist and scrapped material.
Having done the analytical part, next step is implementing. Part of that job is training the employees, how to use “machine-cards” and how they best utilize the ERP system (IFS) at the shopfloor.
You will also act as liaison person between R&D and Operations, and as the right hand of the Production Management, aiding them with the digital side of the production.
Black belt engineer with experience from serial production
You probably come with an engineering background with experience from a serial production company involving larger process lines. You have a professional background from a similar industrial set-up with a flair for ERP systems, Business Intelligence systems and Excel. Knowledge of plastic is a clear advantage, but not a requirement. Having worked in the industry for several years you can see the big picture and thrives in a dynamic and sometimes changeable production environment. You are used to an international scene, working well with colleagues from different cultures. You have a natural interest in the sustainable agenda.
As a person you are interested in the business, goal-oriented and drive your work independently. Furthermore, you are open, sympathetic, and appreciative towards other people. You work through an analytical, structured, and organised approach. Your communicative style is well received, and you can communicate well in Danish and English, both verbally and written.
