CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

The Embassy of Brazil in Copenhagen calls applicants for a selection process for one permanent position as Support Staff, mainly driving services and other related tasks, with a monthly salary of DKK 19.350.00 (nineteen thousand, three hundred and fifty Danish kroner).

  1. The candidate must meet the following basic requirements:

  1. Be at least 18 years old.
  2. Show proof of residence status and legal permission to undertake paid work, in accordance with Danish legislation, if Brazilian or other non-EU nationals.
  3. Present a certificate of, at least, basic school education (“folkeskole” or equivalent).
  4. Present a certificate of criminal records issued by the Danish Police.
  5. Present a doctor’s statement attesting the candidate’s physical and mental health.
  6. If the candidate is a Brazilian citizen, a certificate regarding fulfillment of electoral obligations as well as a declaration that the candidate does not hold public positions, jobs or functions in Brazil are required.
  7. If the candidate is a Brazilian male aged 45 years old or under, proof of presentation for military service in Brazil is required.
  8. Declare being aware that the position the candidate is applying for is not a civil service position under Brazilian law.
  9. Hold a Danish driver’s license, category B.
  10. Show letters of recommendation from previous employers, including on experience in driving vehicles up to 9 seats, as well as car maintenance.
  11. Show a resumé
  12. Fluency in the Danish language sufficient for support tasks and frequent contact with providers (proof of school education in Danish or Prøve i Dansk 3, although not mandatory, will be highly appreciated).

  1. Candidates should send an Application Form, available at https://copenhague.itamaraty.gov.br, as well as the items (a) to (l), above to the e-mail [email protected], until the 3rd of December, 2021.

  1. The resumé and letters of recommendation of the candidates will be ranked in accordance to criteria including, but not restricted to, years of demonstrated experience in driving tasks, including basic car maintenance skills.

  1. For those selected by their resumé, the selection process will consist of one practical exam, to be held on the tentative date of the 6th of December 2021, consisting of demonstration of driving and basic car maintenance skills.

  1. The best qualified candidates on the practical exam will be interviewed by the Selection Committee on the tentative dates of the 13th to the 16th of December, 2021. Preference will be given to the candidates that demonstrate excellent command of English and Danish, and have proven professional experience as a driver, preferably in other embassies.

  1. Although not mandatory for this specific management function, working knowledge of the Portuguese language will be used as tie-breaker criterium during the interview for candidates with equal final classification on written exams.

  1. The employment contract, to be signed between the selected candidate and the Embassy of Brazil in Copenhagen, shall be governed by Danish labour law.
