Job Summary:
Secomea is looking for an experienced data analyst who will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and interpreting data. Your responsibilities will include making the information available throughout the organization in close cooperation with stakeholders from different departments. Over time the right candidate will have great opportunities of evolving this new position in the company.
Your mission is to set the standard going forward! As an organization, Secomea is on its way – but needs to be more data-driven; you will be the focal point for this.
We are looking for a profile with solid experience in examining data, identifying trends and gathering information that can be used to make business decisions.
You are a visionary profile that sets the framework for data, creates insight through market analyses and prepares analyses for your colleagues. Moreover, you have experience in asking critical questions and based on your input from them, define which data is necessary for each specific project. The new data analyst will have considerable leeway, and the experience you bring will be listened to. The daily and close cooperation will be with the Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Success departments.

Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, and interpret data insights to be used by the organization to make data-driven decisions
- Provide ongoing analysis of existing data and deep dive into key strategic areas
- Ownership of data processes and tooling
- Responsibility for cross-organizational analysis like Market Analysis and Competitor Analysis
- Understand stakeholders’ business priorities as well as decision-making needs.
- Present data insights to stakeholders
- Contribute to building up governance for a Data-Driven Organization
Required skills and competencies:
- Relevant academic background (Software development, IT, Economics)
- 3+ years of relevant work experience as a Data Analyst
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong business acumen
- Exceptional written, visual, and verbal communication & presentation skills in English, i.e., able to deliver structured and simple messages in presentations to key stakeholders
- Energetic, passionate, and ambitious personality. With a drive to challenge the status quo within data & analytics
- High accountability and a proactive approach to getting the work done
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office package, including being a super user of Excel and PowerBi
