The role…
You will play an important role in strengthening the Demant Hearing Aid Wholesale business by leveraging data to deepen the understanding of the customers.
Specifically, you will be part of a highly engaged team that ensures that data related to the products and the customers are collected, analyzed, transformed into insights and shared with relevant Demant stakeholders. You will be referring to the Senior Manager of Customer Insights.
Your main responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure business issues are translated into specific research/analytic questions with clear business impact
- Gather data from multiple sources, clean and transform data into strategic insights
- Generate reports to disseminate strategic insights to the relevant stakeholders
- Cooperate with the behavioral part of Customer Insights to ensure a deep understanding of the customers
- Champion the adoption of market intelligence tools and techniques to ensure greater outside-in awareness within the organization
Ideally you have:
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field
- Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze secondary data, building in assumptions and modeling when full data is unavailable
- Hands-on experience with data gathering, data cleaning, data exploration
- Hands-on experience with analyzing and interpreting data using statistical techniques
- Proficiency in SQL and Python - Numpy, Matplotlib, Pandas, Sci-kit Learn
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Technical interest and ability to translate technical matters into easy-to-understand messaging
You have an open and curious mindset and are eager to learn new skills related to market research. You are positive, engaged, self-motivated and autonomous with strong team orientation skills. Your written and communication skills are strong as well as your fluency in English.
