Technical Manager to Primagaz Denmark


A newly established as Technical Manager that will be responsible for technical designs, installations, inspections and technical support for Primagaz Denmark’s bulk installations. The Technical Manager decides on processes, standards, and makes prioritizations together with an experienced team of Installers and the Commercial team.

There will be great opportunity to influence and build the best processes and practices to support a wide range of projects, and this will happen in an organisation with a substantial and loyal customer base, ranging from the small restaurants to the big corporate companies.

The Job – People management, technical project management and planning


As Technical Manager, you will be responsible for all bulk installations and technical activities for Primagaz Denmark, which include the full lifecycle of Primagaz installations and after sales services to the customers. You will manage an experienced team of Installers that support 1) Design & Installation, 2) Inspection, Maintenance & Statutory Checks, and 3) Controls of the whole installations. The wide range of tasks requires a good overview and prioritizations from your side.

Because it is a newly established role, you will – next to executing daily tasks – build processes, standards and new service concepts that secure a common way of working and uniform deliverables. Your main activities and responsibilities include:

  • Project management of installation projects from inception to completion, with attention to contract management, efficient procurement and commissioning of installation and training.

  • Ensure compliance with company specifications, regulations and ISO 9001 requirements, incl. documentation of controls and timely completion of statutory tank testing.

  • Ensure safe working practices in all engineering, maintenance, and technical activities.

  • Motivate, develop, and support you team, and ensure continuous upgrade of skills.  


The Profile – Experience with technical installations, pressure equipment and, perhaps, gas wells.


We are looking for a team player with experience from technical project management and in managing stakeholders and relations, to the customers and across the organisation. In your work, you are pragmatic, and solution oriented with focus on what adds value. In situations with pressure and in complex problems, you still manage to make and provide a high level of customer service. As a people manager, you are delegating, coaching and supportive – and when needed, you are not afraid to chip in, where you can. Professionally, you have experience in the following areas:

  • A strong project manager with experience from designing, installing, and maintaining equipment/installations etc., and experience from working with drainage and maintenance.

  • An advantage, but not a requirement, with a background as VVS professional with an authorisation in gas and knowledge of how to work with pressure equipment.


  • Experience from leading a small team of technical employees.

  • Experience with Health and Safety Principles, and perhaps an ATEX classification.
