For our R&D Department we are looking for a skilled and experienced electrician to handle our electrical engineering of the cable sets within the entire wind turbine. Our systems consist of power converters, electrical control and power supply panels as well as medium voltage equipment and grounding, EMC and lightning protection systems for our wind turbines - in this position you will have a big overview of the wind turbine design!
How to contribute to our vision
The technical coordinator will be responsible for managing our deliveries of cable sets in the development projects, as well as taking an active part in the management of the interfaces and technical alignment between the different parts of the wind turbine. The technical coordinator is also expected to play a role in the way of implementing cable issues into the future designs for the specific turbine platforms.
You will have a role as a technical coordinator of smaller technology development projects and you will drive design of cable sets with a practical mindset.
It will be your responsibility to coordinate and prioritize as well as execute on key tasks – just as you will be able to adapt to the various tools and processes that are applied in the department.
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
The ideal candidate has an electrical background (electrician or similar) that enables you to get a deep technical understanding as well as a minimum 3 – 5 years of experience. It is a requirement that you have an overall electrical understanding including knowledge and experience within electrical system design and turbine operation.
