Manufacturing & Global Procurement Converters & Controls PEX Test
The Electronics team are responsible for the development of test equipment in the Converters & Controls segment in Vestas Manufacturing. The team interfaces to- and cooperate with Vestas R&D and the electronics factory in Hammel, Denmark.
The overall team consist of 26 people who work with test development, for Vestas. Four of those are, just like you, dedicated to the development of electronics testing.
The electronics team is responsible for developing test equipment including test sequences for new as well as existing electronics products in the Vestas portfolio. The projects are executed in a team with clear responsibilities, but with many opportunities to develop with others. The primary function is to translate test specifications from R&D into test equipment that can plug directly into a production line and subsequently support any update or improvement, day-to-day support is handled by a Technical Support function.
The department places a high focus on an informal working environment and teamwork. We consistently score high on team collaboration in our employee surveys.

Additional information
Primary work location will be in Hammel, Denmark.
Work on our other locations in DK must be expected in shorter periods. Travel activity will vary depending on our projects. Approximately 20 days of travelling abroad per year must be expected.

Responsibilities
- Take lead and responsibility for developing module and PCB test equipment
- Specify fixture HW (high-level) to be developed by external suppliers
- Develop, maintain and improve test sequences
- Be a great team member
Qualifications
We imagine that you have the following qualifications:
- An educational background in Electronics Engineering from a university or apprenticeship
- Proven experience with hands-on development of electronic test equipment and test sequences
- Deep knowledge of impedance matching in test fixtures with complex measurements
- Deep knowledge in measurement theory (measurement capability and uncertainty)
- Experiences with reading and writing schematics, PCB layout skills will be preferred (Altium)
- Boundary Scan experience
- Experience from complex and long-lived products
- Programming in LabView and test sequence skills is an advantage
