Passionate Business Analyst to join the new CfA
LEO Pharma has embarked on a very ambitious journey to become the world’s preferred dermatology care partner – and that is why we need you. At LEO Pharma, we are establishing a Center for Analytics (CfA) in Business Finance because we believe in utilising data and analytics to drive tangible business value.
We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst to join the new CfA - and you are the right fit, if it motivates you to transform data into business insights by preparing and visualising data, to discuss smart ways of working with data and continuously come up with new and smarter ways to apply analytics to drive business value.
The job
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for the entire data and analytics pipeline: from understanding business requirements to collecting, transforming and preparing the data into a suitable data model that you can do your analysis on and ultimately visualise your findings in a dashboard.
The ideal candidate has a profound understanding of finance, but is passionate about working with data and analytics. As you will work with analysing and visualising data, a structured and logical mindset is required and a creative mindset is appreciated.
We have two open positions in the CfA. One with point of contact to Region International commercial and one for GPS Manufacturing.
Your key responsibilities are:
Drive and execute strategic analytics projects that involves multiple business areas such as forecasting Consult and assist the Business Partner teams with ad-hoc analytical projects including advising on established best-practice Develop and automate robust dashboards and datasets Teach the wider Business Finance organisation tools and techniques to help increase the general data and analytics maturity Single Point of Contact to our Business Partners
Your qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience working within finance, with a track-record of providing tangible results Experience in data, consulting, analytics or a related function involving quantitative data analysis to solve problems Experience visualising data and combining them into dashboards A structured and detail-oriented approach to solving problems Hands-on experience performing quantitative data analysis, ideally within Power BI and/or Alteryx A curious mindset ready to explore possibilities within tools and technologies Strong ability to communicate with both business stakeholders and IT
Your new team
You will be part of a team with 6 employees some of them working out of a market. The individual business analysts will have a single point of contact to a business partner and a range of markets in either EU+, RI, be point of contact to Thrombosis or manufacturing. The CfA team is part of the FP&A function in Global Business Finance.
