Become Compliance Champion in LEO Pharma’s most diverse region
You will become part of Region International, one of three business critical regions in LEO Pharma. The Region is growing fast and is very diverse, covering our affiliates in Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa and Russia. Over the past year, we have intensified our focus on developing our Regional Compliance frameworks. Now it is time to take our efforts to the next level – and this is where you come in to the picture. In close partnering and collaboration with the Global Compliance & Risk, the Regional Leadership Team and Country Compliance Team Members, you will drive compliance as a recognised and basic cultural element across the Region and will optimise the Compliance governance and processes across the Region with a strong commercial and cultural focus.
Your primary tasks will be to:
Act as a compliance business partner to Region International Leadership team, interpreting compliance regulations/requirements, identifying their possible business impact and providing proactively technical input and expertise on how the actions required Design risk & compliance Annual and mid-term plan based on the business strategy and execute on it with a proactive and hands on approach and through influencing your key stakeholders Build strong and effective relationships across the business to strengthen the deeper understanding of Risk & Compliance and the image of Risk & Compliance as a business partner Drive and develop further Compliance in the Region, including the governance structure, mind-set, processes and procedures, and monitoring Conduct periodic checks to provide risk-based oversight and assurance regarding business compliance with policies, procedures, systems, controls and governance requirements affecting their business area Act as a sparring partner for head quarter functions in rolling out Compliance initiatives including Governance and Collaboration, Policies & Procedures, Investigations, Enterprise Third Party Compliance, Compliance Training & Communications, Performance Management & Reporting, Risk & Crisis Management, Anti-Corruption and Bribery, Health Care Compliance and Data Protection Bridge the understanding gap between head quarter compliance functions and the commercial affiliates by pursuing optimal win-win solutions Lead the Region International Compliance Committee which represents Compliance in the Region Manage a direct team in Ballerup consisting of a Document Management manager and a student assistant, and act as interim manager for 3 Compliance employees in Japan and Korea Follow-up and report on compliance to Region International leadership Act as a point of entry to the region for Global GxP functions, without needing to be a GxP expert
You will report to the Head of People Business Partnering & Compliance in Region International and be based at the LEO Pharma headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen. You can expect to travel 30-50 days a year in-order-to meet with colleagues and partners across the Region.
You will be successful in this role if…
You have experience of driving and developing Sales & Marketing compliance in the pharmaceutical industry. Your business acumen and your way of working is founded on a sound commercial awareness, always aiming to support the growth and optimisation of the business through a compliant approach. Your responsibilities will be broad, and you will have a large stakeholder group. You are therefore able to keep a high-level overview with the end goals in mind, know how to timely manage and prioritize your efforts based on business strategy and or relevant risks, articulate complex concepts simply and balance stakeholders.
Other requirements:
BSc in Business administration or similar, MSc will be considered a plus Broad knowledge of compliance and risk management practices Project management experience
You have a well-developed cultural flair and are seasoned in building and maintaining productive partnerships across borders and functions. You have strong influencing and stakeholder management skills. You transmit your personal enthusiasm to people around you to ensure deliveries according to plans and deadlines. You will be part of Region International People & Compliance Team with peers located in Russia, Japan, China, UAE and Denmark while you will have close collaboration with the Global Risk & Compliance, as well as Global Quality Partnering Team.
