We are looking for a Business Analyst who can play a key role in the development of Faerch by ensuring business analysis expertise and support data-based decision making by applying analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
Your role
In the capacity of your role, you will be responsible for data collection, prepare strategic and commercial decision papers, and thus, provide high-level decision makers with invaluable data and insights, thereby ensuring they are equipped to make the right decisions. You will be part of the Group M&A and Strategy team and report into the Director of Group Strategy.

Your responsibilities
Working closely together with the M&A and Strategy team, you will participate in market and M&A target screening, preparation of business cases and take part in Due Diligence processes. You will provide support to the CEO and Executive Management with focus on financial analysis, strategic initiatives and presentations e.g. board presentations. Being a visible go-to person and partnering up with various parts of the organisation is vital for the role.

- Perform analytical tasks to identify, collect and analyse data to support decision making
- Prepare business cases and support Project Management for selected strategic projects e.g. pricing projects, procurement, market entry analysis, footprint optimization
- Financial Modelling (Excel) with focus on M&A modelling (P&L, Cash, Flow, Balance Sheet) and long-term strategic plans
- Participate and in some cases, lead and coordinate projects sponsored by the Executive Management
- Support ad-hoc requests and provide data analysis as requested
- Support integration of M&A targets incl. 100d planning, value creation plans, and merger filing
Your profile

Your qualifications
- M.Sc. in Economics, Finance, International Business or Business Development or similar relevant education
- You could be a recent graduate (or about to graduate this summer) and ready to kick start your career in an international company or you have a few years of working experience within a similar job and are keen to take on the next step in your career
- You have the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks and you have a high sense of urgency
- A self-starter with the ability and confidence to liaise with contacts on all levels of the organisation
- Integrity and interpersonal skills enabling you to create trust with relevant local and international stakeholders
- Fluency in English (verbal and written) is mandatory
- Strong skills with Excel and PowerPoint are an advantage
