Key responsibilities


As the Vessel Deployment Specialist you will be having the accountability for the Deployment of Assets, optimising on overall cost/benefit considering elements such as consumption, intakes, and charter costs.

You will assist with developing the optimal fleet mix basis current and future surplus/deficit situation on vessel segments on coordination with Network & Markets and Chartering.

You have the accountability and responsibility of cost efficient planning/timing for a segment/range of vessel sizes (considering overall replacement & network costs) determining where we need flexibility to ensure ability to meet the requirements of our customers.

Futhermore you will find opportunities to mitigate/minimise costs with positioning vessels in between deployment via commercial, operational or chartering opportunities via liaising with key stakeholders.

We are looking for


The ideal candidate will ideally have experience from relevant functions in Operations (Capacity, Marine, or Stowage) or ‘Trade & Marketing’ combined with a good understanding of ship management and/or marine/capacity management.

You:

• Have clear ability convert concepts into actions

• Are a strong person, with a natural inclination to both challenge and cooperate

• Are able to engage with multiple stakeholders simultaneously

• Are a natural orientation towards Focus, Simplicity and Teamwork in support of our cultural amplifiers

You have a positive mindset and are able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders and you have the ability to think outside the box.
