We are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner with interest in PMO work to become part of a strong team continuing a transformation journey in the way we support the business.

In your role you will work with commercial and financial stakeholders to optimize and develop the business. As a finance business partner, you will be expected to quickly get to know the business and work across functions. You will identify risks and opportunities for the business and support stakeholders’ decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

As Senior Finance Business Partner you will provide analytical insight and improvement scenarios to stakeholders and drive strategic important projects within the commercial finance space such as developing new reporting solutions. In addition, you will be focal on Maersk Operating System

Other key tasks:

  • Own the development and preparation of material for performance reviews and Playbook meetings.
  • Partner with the Business Intelligence team in development of advanced reporting solutions.
  • Support the Head of Commercial Excellence Finance on strategy projects.
  • Be key contact from O&L Finance to the group functions for the Maersk Operating system.
  • Improve short and long term performance through relevant, accurate and timely analytical insight to select Sales & Marketing functions.
  • Contribute to business decisions and drive FBP Excellence for finance support to Commercial stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Excellence FBPs to provide and improve visibility, support & analysis to Stakeholders.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree (or similar) in finance or economics combined with more than five years of work experience within finance – experience in Commercial Finance environment or Logistics environment is an advantage.

You have good knowledge of one or more core financial discipline such as accounting, controlling etc. as well as solid knowledge of one or more of the core products Maersk offers to its customer’s. Experience in driving finance project is a strong advantage.

Solid abilities in communicating with senior stakeholders is key.

Furthermore you:

  • Are highly skilled in Excel and PowerPoint, while experience from BI systems is a plus
  • Are a strong team player with the ability to engage with and influence, guide and challenge multiple stakeholders
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong integrity and collaboration mindset that goes well with people at all levels in a global organization
  • Are used to and enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced and changing environment dealing with a lot of different tasks at the same time
  • Are result driven and have a strong logical and analytical capacity
  • Are a self-starter with a strong driving force, striving for continuous improvement and wanting to solve problems even if finding answers are not easy
  • Are fluent in written and spoken English. Danish is not required.
