About the Job:

Would you like the opportunity to be part of a visible and outgoing Group Non-Financial Risk Management team, where you can contribute to creating value for Saxo Group and our clients?

We have initiated an exciting journey to bring non-financial risk management (NFRM) to the next level and are looking for a motivated and talented Risk Associate to join our team at the Group’s Headquarters in Copenhagen.

The Group Non-Financial Risk team is part of the Group Risk and Capital Management, Saxo Bank’s second line risk management function. Within Group Non-Financial Risk, the Risk Framework, Governance & Reporting team is responsible for developing and maintaining the overall frameworks, policies and standards for non-financial risks as well as for reporting on the Group’s risk profile. Furthermore, we support the work of different risk committees within the Group.

As a Risk Associate, you will be working in close collaboration with the whole Non-Financial Risk Management team. Your responsibilities will typically include:

• Supporting data aggregation and analysis as well as regular non-financial risk reporting, including the development and maintenance of reporting dashboards and the ad-hoc analysis and presentation of key findings
• Coordinating deliverables and presentation materials for key risk committees, including the Operational Risk Committee, Management Risk Committee, and Board Risk Committee
• Supporting the maintenance and ongoing improvement of the Group’s Non-Financial Risk Management framework
• Supporting the design, maintenance and ongoing improvement of the measurement framework for Non-Financial Risks, including key risk indicators
• Contributing to the Group’s risk culture and supporting the development and execution of risk-related trainings to the First Line and other key stakeholdersYour Profile :

You have a graduate degree, and have some work experience, either part time during your studies, or after graduation. You thrive on delving into more complex issues and are able to develop practical, automated solutions that serve stakeholder needs.

You have a good understanding of financial markets and a technical skillset that includes the usage of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. It would be considered an advantage to have fundamental knowledge of reporting tools (such as PowerBI), data capture and storage models and data queries (SQL).

You are motivated, curious in nature and eager to acquire knowledge in new areas. You have a structured and methodical approach to tasks and take a high degree of ownership, while also being able to work in a team setting. You thrive on finding intelligent and automated solutions and appreciate removing obstacles and impediments. You enjoy working in an international, cross-cultural environment and interact with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences. You have good communication skills and are fluent in English.
