To support that and our exciting growth journey, we are looking to hire a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with broad experience within Payments and who enjoys working in an international and fast-paced environment where no two days are alike. You will be reinforcing our team while developing projects for the internal processing flow of payments, with the aim to fulfil Banking Circles’ overall goal of creating a state-of-the-art payment experience for our clients.

You will be reporting to the Head of Local Clearing and be a part of our growing Local Clearing department, working closely with Payment Engineering. A unique opportunity to be involved in payment implementation projects with Central Banks and automated clearing houses all over the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Product management and implementation of strategic development
  • Understand and translate external requirements to user stories
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to describe and deliver features
  • Convert strategical ambitions into features in our payment infrastructure
  • Responsible for understanding payment processing through our infrastructure
  • Manage the Payment Processing Development portfolio
  • Collaborate with Product Management team to translate the product portfolio

Skills & Qualifications

To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have a relevant educational background and demonstrated capability within the payment area. We imagine you have at least 3-5 years of experience working with payment processing – including formats, data capturing and data distribution. You are used to performing business analysis independently. You must have flair for developing and specifying solutions and be accustomed to successfully managing projects of varying size and complexity and know how to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. If you also have a knowledge of IT infrastructure and development workflows it will be seen as an asset. Experience working with formats such as ISO20022, and ISO15022 as well as SQL skills are preferred, but not a requirement

As a person, you are a well-organised and knowledge-sharing team player, who knows the value of clear and precise communication. You’re a self-starter who has a planning approach to solving tasks and handling challenges. You have great people skills and can easily understand and explain complex things in an adjusted way to fit the audience. You appreciate being a trouble-shooter and like taking responsibility and driving a process forward with a strong focus on strategic goals and measurable business values.

As Banking Circle is an international company it’s a requirement that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. The position will be based onsite at Banking Circle’s Office in Copenhagen.
