Senior Business Analyst for our Retail Group

We now offer a unique career opportunity to become our new Senior Business Analyst. Here, you will create world class reporting for our Retail business. You will work in close cooperation with local and global retail companies, where you will assess, review, challenge and inspire local practices. You will support the retail companies to realize their full potential. You will play a leading role in providing actionable commercial recommendations - both for local and global management.
Furthermore, you will act as Super user for our reporting and help other countries with training and support to help them to drive their data driven agenda. But there will also be feedback for global improvements and challenges on data driven decisions.

We are a team of four, located in Demant’s retail department. You will have close contact to the Retail top management to give them the best support. There will be demands to optimize the business and find opportunities for improvements. Other stakeholders will be Retail IT, Marketing, and our global offices. Here, you will do a lot of sparring on a daily base, to help our offices worldwide with their decisions. Most important, you will gain success through others by involving them and do a lot of knowledge sharing.
To be closer to your stakeholders and build up a network, you can expect about 20 travel days a year including long distance travels to the US and Australia.
Your backpack
To be successful in this role, you need to come along with a Master in IT, Finance, Business or similar and a minimum of 2-3 years of work experience as Business Analyst, Business Controller or Consultant. You have been working with Excel and possibly VBA, DAX, R or another code language at your latest positions. You have excellent English skills both oral and written.
You are self-driven and one of the rare persons, who love data on the one hand but also to network and collaborate with many stakeholders at different levels on the other hand. You find energy in complex challenges. You are a team player who shows a flexible approach to the tasks at hand and wants to contribute to the common success of the team. All in all, you are a positive and open-minded person, eager to learn and develop your skills to meet the needs of a growing retail business in a digital world.

• Analysing and interpreting data
• Clear and logical written and oral communication
• Good at presenting and trustworthy influencer
• Having a strong commercial mindset
• Seeking contact with stakeholders and maintaining a large network
• Gathering feedback plus requests and delivering results at a high level
• Expert in Excel and Power Point
If you have knowledge about Powerbi, Power Pivot, Microsoft CRM, or Microsoft AX, it will be a plus.
