European Energy is a Danish founded green company in exponential growth. We develop, construct, and operate projects within solar- (PV) and wind farms globally, as well as Power-to-X. As our new Project Manager your focus will be on developing and handling our wind- and solar (PV) projects in Montenegro in order to build up the pipeline here. You will be our very first colleague in Montenegro and must thrive working from home office and with remote collaboration with your manager and colleagues in other countries.

Areas of responsibility

• You will develop wind- and solar (PV) projects in Montenegro from early stage
• You will ensure we have all the permits in place in right time
• You will handle engineering and other relevant studies to obtain building permits
• You will be responsible for the environmental impact assessment for our projects
• You will handle the development process, prepare, and submit project applications and documentation to relevant authorities
• You will handle stakeholder management of external partners such as landowners, developers, and service providers

To thrive in the job we imagine

• You have 3+ years of relevant experience from the renewable energy market in Montenegro
• You have experience with development, permitting, and construction management
• You have a relevant university degree or similar, e.g., within engineering or law or business administration
• You are proficient in Montenegrin and English
• You are skilled in MS Office
• You may have experience/interest in working with GIS and project management tools and software
• You have a driving license

As a person you are a “do’er”, you find solutions to challenges, and you understand the risk involved and how to mitigate them. You are organized and know your priorities, taking first things first. You have solid interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate and negotiate with various stakeholders, both internal and external.
