Technical Project Manager for advanced technical development

For new spearhead projects of high importance to Weibel, we are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to drive development activitiesOur client Weibel is in rapid growth, and therefore we are looking for an energetic Technical Project Manager with previous experience in hardware/mechanics/electronics development, a deep interest in technology and processes – and with strong skills in leading people and projects. In this position, you will have great opportunities for high influence on processes and the working culture in the Technology department.Weibel’s customers are within Space, Securing Civil Critical Infrastructure, and the Military, with specific products for both surveillance- and tracking radars. The projects in the Technology department are very cross-functional and involve development in areas such as microwave, electronics, PCB layout, mechanics, application software, and embedded software. You will work closely together with all other parts of the company e.g., the production and sales departments at Weibel.

The primary tasks

Creating the overall strategy for the project to reach the ambitious goals set

Plan and follow-up on all hardware, electrical, and mechanics activities on the project

Guiding and finding solutions to the technical challenges together with the project team

Determining, creating and implementing the best Ways of Working for the project

Reporting of status, progress, cost, quality, and risk

As Technical Project Manager, you will be referring to the VP of Technology.

As the ideal candidate you haveRun several complex technical projects with success +3 years of experience with Technical Project Management A Technical / Engineering background, within Electronics or Mechanics Experience in developing and implementing processes across product development It is a requirement for this position that you can obtain a security clearance.It would be an advantage if you haveExperience from another heavyly regulated company Worked with radio or microwave technology Experience with Agile development processes Knowledge with different project methodologies
