Then you might be the right person for Novo Nordisk, as we currently need an ambitious and dedicated professional to join the Business Support team in Finance & Compliance. You will report to the manager of Business Support and provide executive support to the Corporate Vice President (CVP) of the Business Ethics Compliance Office (BECO).

About the department

Business Support is a team consisting of eight employees providing executive and administrative support to the Finance & Compliance management team. Finance & Compliance is responsible for safeguarding Novo Nordisk’s license to operate. As part of this, we deliver services to the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, Executive Management, and the Global Compliance Organisation.

BECO is one of four departments within Finance & Compliance with responsibility for developing and maintaining Novo Nordisk’s global business ethics compliance programme across Novo Nordisk worldwide. Topics covered include interactions with health care providers and patients, prevention of fraud, bribery, off-label promotion, protection of personal data and respect for human rights. The department consists of 20 employees based in Bagsværd, Denmark plus approximately 10 employees based in Bangalore, India. It is a specialised and ambitious department with a truly global outlook – currently with 10 different nationalities, and a sound mix of experience and youth.

The position

In the capacity as Executive Assistant to the CVP of BECO, you will be responsible for driving an array of day-to-day deliverables and for supporting key decision processes. You will be an instrumental partner to the CVP, supporting her in the daily management of BECO and implementing key business priorities. You will get the opportunity to help drive strategic projects within business ethics compliance and drive projects and management processes across Finance & Compliance. Finally, the role also includes preparation of ad hoc presentations for various internal and external events as well as preparing agendas and meeting material, following up on actions and planning off-sites and department meetings.

The position gives you exposure to senior managers, our global compliance organisation and a solid insight into the compliance function of a global pharmaceutical company. Furthermore, it will be a strong development platform for your future career.

Qualifications

  • You hold a master’s degree from a university or business school, preferably within the field of Business Administration or equivalent
  • Ideally, you have a couple of years’ experience within executive support, consulting or similar generalist areas
  • You are a high performer with a strong track record and thrive in an environment with many deadlines
  • You have a solid, diverse tool box that includes project management, budgeting and digital savviness including full command of the Microsoft Office suite
  • You have strong stakeholder management and intercultural skills
  • You speak and write English fluently
  • As a person, you are open-minded, proactive, a team-player, quality-focused and perform well under pressure
